List of Plumbing Trade Shows and Their COVID-19 Plans for 2021
By My Service Depot on Monday, February 8, 2021What's going on with the big plumbing trade shows in 2021? We've got the lowdown.
With another new year upon us, we thought we’d do a quick roundup of the upcoming plumbing, water, and waste management expos and conventions. Due to COVID-19, a lot of these conventions got canceled in 2020, and you can expect to see a few of our favorites continue to push things off until 2022.
For those new to the industry, these trade shows showcase new technology, studies, and advancements in the industry, and also serve as gathering places for the latest and greatest in products, services, and tools that you can use to enhance your customers’ service experience.
So, without further ado, let’s jump into the list of notable plumbing, water, and waste management trade shows!
WWETT Show
Virtual Dates: Feb. 23-25 (Register here.)
In-Person Dates: June 29-July 2 in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Registration for the live event still pending, but you can get updates at www.wwettshow.com.)
The largest water and waste management exposition on this list does have tentative plans to reconvene in person in late June of 2021. In the meantime, they plan to hold an online event in late February. This could actually work in the favor of many plumbing and septic businesses who find it difficult to make it out to Indianapolis (the show’s permanent location). This year, everyone can participate in WWETT!
Flow Expo
The Flow Expo leaders have made the tough decision to forego this year and set their sights on March of 2022 for their next event. While Flow Expo deserves a spot on our plumbing list, it also features exhibitions and demonstrations for the HVAC industry, making it a must-attend for most any company that does work in both fields.
National Hardware Show
Dates: May 11-13, Las Vegas, Nevada. (Register here.)
The National Hardware show is celebrating its Diamond Anniversary in the biggest way possible; VEGAS, BABY! Celebrate a landmark achievement at the Las Vegas Convention Center for a show that will focus on highlighting new products while maintaining top-notch safety protocols. Be sure to visit https://www.nationalhardwareshow.com/en-us.html for additional details in the coming months.
ASPE Convention
Dates: September 16-21, 2022, Indianapolis, Indiana. (No registration available yet, but you can get notifications on any updates by signing up here.)
It looks like ASPE will be forgo 2021 and reconvene in 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. ASPE gives plumbing pros a great way to stay current on the industry’s latest trends, as well as network with leading industry professionals.
Emerging Water Technology Symposium
It looks like we’re looking to the future with EWTS as well. This tech symposium is usually a must for anyone looking to stay on the edge of technology in the industry, but the folks in charge have decided to sit out 2020.
